2 Game Review - Kreed

Released 2nd July 2004

Acclaim Entertainment and Russobit-M Multimedia Project, have teamed up to bring you Kreed. This first person shooter casts gamers as a so-called legionnaire, one of the most dangerous warriors of the 3rd millennium. The protagonist is marooned on a graveyard for spaceships, inside the space anomaly Kreed, a massive gravity field attracting everything in its wake, like a giant organism. Discovering the secret to Kreed is the goal of the game.

Kreed is based on the X-Tend engine and was developed by Burut Creative Team. The team is headquartered in Voronezh, Russia.

We have received a review copy this game from Acclaim in the post last week, and although not ground breaking, it is fun to play and you will get a laugh from the dodgy English accents. If you are looking for an amazing never done before game then Kreed isn't for you, but as a game it is very playable and will wean those hours away. So overall we give it the following rating:

KREED 7/10

3  Software Review - SpeedUpMyPC

  • Take full advantage of ALL the speed and power that your computer can offer!

  • Avoid 90% or more of all your computer crashes!

  • Enjoy the increased Internet speed you've always wanted!

  • Get rid of annoying popups at last!

  • Take full control of all resources and settings on your PC!

  • Enjoy a cleaner and safer PC!

  • Get up and running quickly with SpeedUpMyPC! Software so friendly, anyone can use it!

I have been running this program now for several days, and yes I am quite impressed. I tend to open too many programs and try and do 7000 things at a time on my computer and then it slows to a stop and I usually need to go for a long walk or switch it off before it recovers, but now I have "SpeedUpMyPC" it has optimized my system and helps be recover from those long slow moments.

The only thing I could not test with this software is the Internet Connection Speed optimizer. This is simply due to my own broadband connection already being optimized.

This software is very easy to use even for the novice, and the downside? well if you have already optimized your computer then only the crash recovery will be of any use to you.

SpeedUpMyPC - 8.5/10

Even better we have teamed up with LIUtilities to get you this software at a special 25% off discount price. Click here for those discounts
